In May 2014, ICIG was requested by the Burkina Faso Enterprise House (MEBF) to co-host a conference on “The issue of financing investment in a growth pole: contribution of mechanisms Innovations” which took place during the 9th edition of the Burkina Faso Entrepreneurship Day (JEB). The aim of this conference was to present to Burkinabe entrepreneurs innovative financing mechanisms such as Private Equity.
At the same time, in order to demonstrate its total commitment to the development of Entrepreneurship in Burkina Faso, ICIG offered a prize of 1 million CFA francs during the competition of the JEB 2014 business plans. The aim is to encourage women’s entrepreneurship and youth entrepreneurship through the award of two prizes worth 500,000 CFA francs each:
1) Award for support to women entrepreneurs with the most innovative project;
2) Price of the young entrepreneur with the most potential.

The ICIG will continue to carry out such actions in favor of the development of entrepreneurship in Burkina Faso and a popularization of the concepts relating to Private Equity.
